Our mission with the UWorld CFA® scholarship is to elevate college students who are academically advanced, outstanding citizens but encounter financial limitations. UWorld scholars are many times the first in their family to attend college, this support assists in lifting their career post-graduation. This offers scholars worldwide an opportunity to attain the highest levels of finance certification. We want to break financial barriers for students across the globe, providing them with tuition assistance and prep to pass the CFA® Level I exam.
Scholarship Application Details

You will receive an email with further instructions on submitting the following:
- Link to your video
- A picture of yourself smiling!
- Applicants must be in one of the following categories:
- Current undergraduate student at an accredited university or college that will be in their junior year (minimum) when applying for the scholarship, and in their senior for the exam window that’s chosen by the candidate.
- Or, currently a graduate student at an accredited university or college.
- Or, graduated from an accredited university or college in the last 2 years.
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
UWorld will evaluate candidates on a quarterly basis based on the following deadlines each year: Q1 – March 31st, Q2 – June 30th, Q3 – September 30th, and Q4 – December 31st. Candidates will be notified within 10 days the outcome of the evaluation. No entries will be held over into the next window. So, if a candidate does not win, and wants to re-apply, they must submit a new entry.
